the other packages as well, to give packages and administration
scripts a way to query syslogd configurations, thus the name
syslog-common for that package. read-syslog works for msyslog
and sysklogd today, unfortunately it's verry hard to get replies
from the sysklogd maintainer.

Unfortunately including read-syslog or using the entire
syslog-common infrastructure is a mayor change in the package,
and thus I will not do it in NMU.
