Pah. Thanks for the responce. I'm totally new to LDAP... and I reckon
I'm a fairly competant UNiX admin - Few things trouble me - but LDAP
is driving me nuts. It seems tantalizingly brilliant for what I need...
but it is very hard to get into.

Guess I'll stop trying to use ol2 and go back to ol1. (Apart from
anything else I need to run on stable, and ol2 207-3 now requires db3 so
building it for potato is now non-trivial.)
