Somebody else posted a more specific version:
Depends: packagea (if packageb)
and I was thinking, yes, you could do this with kernel packages too.
However, if the user manually installs the kernel, he/she must
manually worry about these dependencies.
(not sure I like the exact syntax, but that is a minor point).

I really hate the idea of Packages file altogether. Only, I can't
think of anything better (except splitting out the descriptions, as in
other thread), so I can't really proposed that we fix it... ;-)
