Hmmm, you're technically right, the program prevents you running it when you 
don't have the permission of the people who will be affected.  I can see this 
meaning that countries with 'content protection' couldn't legally use the 
software.

I do believe we are taking a 'naive' view and trying to make the software 
free, while the author is trying to make all information free so in many ways 
the author's goals are more ambitious than ours.

PS: personally I support the author's intention and think it is a pity if it 
has to go into non-free.
