Well, I declare depencies on packages in Debian not on programs. Is
the packages in questions is GNU versions, then that isa what I'm may
use.
If we want to be able to only depend on a common subset we should make
virtual packages providing these subsets and the have the same
situation as with bash. If you're using extension depend on the
extension and not just the common part.
