Sorry about that.  I spent about 40 minutes debugging the problem and just 
got it fixed before an important meeting (deciding whether to use VA Linux 
machines or Sun machines - it's going to be Debian on VA Linux!!!).

I had to decide between leaving it unreported or risking reporting it twice 
and chose the latter option.
