glibc security problem in Debian?
Is the security problem with glibc, as reported from RedHat and
EnGarde, present in Debian (Potato/Woody/Sid)?
According to
<URL:http://www.redhat.com/support/errata/RHSA-2001-160.html>, the bug
is present in 2.2.4, and according to
<URL:http://www.linuxsecurity.com/advisories/other_advisory-1752.html>
it is present i 2.1.3.
I found nothing in my /usr/share/doc/libc6/changelog.Debian.gz for
v2.2.4-5 about this security problem with globbing.
I was unable to get into the glibc bugtracking system, so I can't
check the status there.
