All good points, but the source of the discussion was: there may be
cases in which explanation is not necessary (either from the submitter
point of view or the DD one) and a simple close command is more than
enough. Mail and such things may follow if requested. Reopen the bug if
you are not satisfied.
I didn't state that i do not want to send reason, write change-log, or
something else.
I wrote that there would be cases in which close command can still be
used, and is of no harm to anyone.
Moreover it is may way to manipulate bugs, and i want to use it again.
I would like to choose my way of doing things.
Modify the close command to send the comments in the mail to the
submitter of the bug as reason, would be a nice solution to me (it will
avoid the Cc).
Deprecate it would be not.

I've no more time to follow this thread, since my exam is within few
days. I give up. Do whatever you think would be better.
