I waited 2 months before to see a rejection from
ftp-masters :-(.

The cause (in my package) was a licenses problem.
If this is your case, start a thread in debian-legal,
so that the ftp-masters have more data to make
the decision.

If the cause in your package is another, try to find it,
and try to discuss it with other developers. More opinion
(if their are cleaver) help you and the ftp-masters. They
read all (or nearly all) the debian lists, the spy you in
IRC,...
