Re: Gnome & /usr/local policy
Sorry for replying twice, I forgot to mention the GNOME_PATH environment
variable in GNOME1 (colon separated list of prefixes I think), certainly
some components (oaf?) in GNOME1 follow it, I'm not sure if it helps
with the original posters problem though...
