Policy on man pages for kernel-module packages

Hi,
As the package maintainer for e100-source, which generates
e100-module-#KVERS#, I am strugling with the following problem:

The e100-module-#KVERS# installs a man page e100.{whatever}.
Clearly the installation will break if more than 1 e100-module-#KVERS#
is installed. Therefore I wanted to rename the e100.{whatever} to
e100-#KVERS#.{whatever}, and for ease of use let the e100.{whatever}
refer to the e100-#KVERS#.{whatever}.

I am not sure however what way I should do that. Is there already a
policy about this?

Options:
- alternative
- just ln -sf
- divert

What would be the best (policy setting) solution?
