Or set the fifth column of all entries in /etc/postfix/master.cf to "n", to
tell postfix not to chroot anything.  Or use read-only bind mounts (plug
here the recent flamethread).

THAT is a damn poor reason to bash on postfix. Please pick a true weakness,
such as the need for regexp tables to perform certain kinds of rewrites, or
the troublesome content-filter interface (which I don't know to be any
better on exim, anyway).
