Yes, that's right. We later on, together with Adam C Powell IV, talked about
persuading them to use a free license. Adam sent the author an e-mail
recommending available free software licenses. It would be much better if we
had it in main distribution.
What I meant in that email was, that permission to distribute was enough to
include it in debian non-free even if they wouldn't consider a license change.
