binutils-2.11.92.0.5 more strict on i386

As a heads up, it appears binutils-2.1.92.0.5 is more strict
on i386 about linking non-PIC code into shared objects. Buggy
code will still link properly, but the resultant shared object
does not load properly and segfaults.

Since this has been a concern on powerpc and other architectures
for a long time, most bugs in straigt C code have been corrected.
It showed up for me when compiling and linking assembly code that
had not been written to be position-independent.
