I don't think it's as simple as that. What is "pure x86" any more?

There was the plain old 486 instruction set. Intel added some Pentium
extensions. Intel added MMX. AMD, Cyrix etc added MMX. AMD added 3D Now!
I don't know if those original Pentium extensions ever made it into
the others. So what's standard any more?
