I redid some tests, and now I see that lvcool reduces the power
comsumption from above 80W down to 60W. The earlier results are
bogous because I did a stupid mistake and lvcool didn't enable
the disconnect mode at all.

Of course this stays valid, the absolute numbers are probably not
reliable. But now I'm sure lvcool helps to actually save a significant
amount of energy and is therefore usefull even if CPU temperature is
not a problem.
