be nice to bug reporters, part 2 (Re: Bug#96632: upgrading from 4.0.1 to 4.0.3 silently breaks keyboard configuration)



(Following up to my own post.)

I propose a simple fix:

Branden sent me a short note with useful technical facts in it, but it
(doubtless unintentionally) left me feeling bad.

I'm pretty sure that if his note (quoted below) had been exactly the same, but
with "Hi there!  Thanks for the bug report." prepended to the front, then 
I would not have felt bad.
