Since I was curious why dpkg wasn't updated in testing and looked at its bug reports. There I saw an important bug which is _3_years_and_161_days_old_ ! Is this truly still an unfixed bug with priority important? How long may a bug be alive until it or the offending application gets removed or changed to a lower priority. Isn't there a procedure to handle anything with passes a certain deadline according to its priority? O. Wyss
