Well, I've had RedHat break LILO in its install (unrecoverable without a
bootdisk), trash glibc on upgrade (go figure), and trash RPM on upgrade
("upgrade to rpmv4!", they say, "we'll only provide new updates in rpmv4
format!", only to have it trash your RPM db, even when you follow the
safe-upgrade-without-trashing-your-rpm-db steps carefully).
