I worked pretty hard on the README.Debian contained in nut. It has a
step-by-step set of instructions on how to set up nut. Moreover, all the
upstream documentation is provided in nut-doc, so I would suggest
installing that. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to try to
answer them.

nut packages are available from the official Debian mirrors for unstable
(sid) and for testing (woody).

I have made nut packages for stable (potato). For morle information,
please see http://people.debian.org/~lfilipoz.

Basically, you add to your /etc/apt/sources.list file the following:

deb http://people.debian.org/~lfilipoz potato
