the install/update system policy is too dificult to deal while wishing
to internationalize, the dpkg's and other tools' implementation should
be reviewed for a easier internationalization of the packet managing
process.

Hi,

The state of i18n in dpkg or apt is an issue for those individual packages,
not the project pseudo-package... and if you want the descriptions
translated, that would require an implementation in dpkg/apt, and a policy
blessing.
