Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was referring to the client applications,
any of which can be started from the command line with complete
functionality.

Again, I'm not arguing against the menu; I find it incredibly useful and
agree that it probably ought to be moved to standard priority. But there
are many reasons that *client* packages (I'm not talking about window
managers here, and yes, I know they are X clients just as much as xterm,
try not to be overly nit-picky here :-)) shouldn't depend, recommend, or
even suggest menu.
