please give my packages a better home
dear fellow debian developers,
over the past few months my life has become way too busy with work,
finishing my thesis, work, preparing to move to the u.s., and work.
it appears that things are only getting worse for the short term
future.
due to this, i have not been giving my packages the attention they
deserve. therefore, i will be offering them up for adoption, in the
hope that other developers will take better care of them.
the only package i would like to hang on to is nmh, but if it turns
out that even one package is too much for me, i will also give that up
too.
the packages i'm offering are:
bsh [contrib] - an lgpl'ed interpreter for a java-like script
language; requires a non-free parser generator to build, and also
seems to be happy only with the official sun/blackdown jdk
gradio - a gtk interface to the video4linux radio tuner
groundhog - a simple gtk logic puzzle game
knl - replacement for rdev and friends; probably obsolete since almost
nobody dd's their kernel directly to a floppy anymore
sted - a simple/small/stupid text editor; should probably be removed
for the archive since there are editors that are far better in all of
these aspects
tya [contrib] - a just-in-type compiler for the blackdown jdk
none of these packages have any significant outstanding bugs.
thanks,
- ruud de rooij
