Thing is... On the website http://gnokii.org/ is a link to the 
ftpsite ftp://ftp.gnokii.org/ and there is a complete debian apt-tree
there with the current stable release in it :]

I'll first mail the 'gnokii project' if they want me to maintain it 
for the Debian Project or if they are already working on something.

I'll keep you posted.
