Severity: critical

I think there should be an usable editor on "/". Currently with potato there is "ed", but how many people can
effectivley use it? I suggest something like nano or ae goes in /bin. This way if /usr can't be mounted there is an
editor that doesn't just totally sucks to use.

ae has been in /bin for something like forever (before the changelogs
started being dated), and it's required and in base. This bug can be
closed.

Thanks,
