Oh, no. That's inefficient and unreliable. We don't know the implications of
such a change. It's often a mistake to make a global change for a local effect.
I think it would be quite easy to write a lintian check for this. The check
itself would probably be not too reliable, but at least I would expect to
have such mistakes reported by it to me, and it keeps the warning local to
Debian package builds.
But thanks for pointing it out. I am sure I have some . somewhere ;)
