OK, that might explain the can't find dsc from Fub 8 or so, but I
still don't get problems before or after that.
I understand that I keep griping and asking people to explain why the
buildd seems to give unexplained can't find dsc errors but it really
seems that something is fairly wrong from the logs, and my experience
has lead me to believe that finding out what is going on in such
situations is worth being a bit of a pain/annoying. Perhaps it's just
a misleading error message, but until we know that I'm going to
continue to be annoying about it as I get incomplete information.

The following is the build history for krb5. Each build log I've
looked at where it went to state building and then was not uploaded is
a dsc file not found. No explanation given so far explains this
behavior.
