LILO: ignoring "default=" in lilo.conf
Hello
I have just upgraded to the latest LILO (1:21.6-2) from testing/woody.
Now, I saw debconf come up with questions and I answered them all. Fine.
But, you managed to overlook the "default=" option in my original
lilo.conf.
The thing is, my /vmlinuz symlink points to 2.4.0 - which is not yet
working here. I have another symlink named /vmlinuz.old, which points to
2.2.18 - which works and which is what I've been using.
In my original lilo.conf I had set default=LinuxOLD which was a label
pointing to /vmlinuz.old. So, if I just rebooted now, the system
wouldn't have booted up just by itself - I'd have to manually choose the
"LinuxOLD" label at the LILO prompt.
So, please take care of the "default" option, too.
Thanks
Sven
