KDE & apt

I cannot upgrade KDE with apt anymore since the dependencies are incorrect.
Many packages depend on kdelibs3-nossl (>= 4:2.0-20000927-0). However, I
want to install kdelibs3 not kdelibs3-nossl. Now kdelibs3g does provide
kdelibs3-nossl, but AFAIK versioned dependencies don't work with Provides.

Others like kcron list both:

kdelibs3 (>= 4:2.0-20000927-0) | kdelibs3-nossl (>= 4:2.0-20000927-0)

but also in the very same Depends line: kdelibs3-nossl (>= 4:2.0-20001002-0)

Obviously that won't do either. I wonder what's the correct solution for
this? Remove the version so the provides works? I'm not sure that would work
since the version number may be important on a beta version package. If
however the packages need to list both, I think dpkg-shlibdeps needs to be
adjusted, i.e. we need an entry in /etc/dpkg/shlibs.default?

Correct?
