Same basic syscall interface, but different numbering. Linux ia32 syscalls
start at 1, Linux ia64 starts at 1025. For really amusing syscall
numbering see mips, which uses:

    SVR4		1-999
    SYS V		1000-1999
    BSD 4.3		2000-2999
    POSIX		3000-3999
    Linux		4000-4999
