Not knowing what the package is, I would think a program itself segfaulting is not sufficient to allow uploading. Here's an example of something that is serious enough: login segfaults when invoked, hence preventing anyone from logging in. Another, a problem in the dynamic libc causes every program that calls pwd() to segfault. So you see, the problem would have to be systemic. -Jim
