Well, we all know just what an idiot, asshole, wanker I have always been,
so I don't quite see your point ;-)

In any case, it was my understanding that debian-projects was the list
where all the important discussions went on, and debian-devel was resurved
for us loosers who are so isolated we have no place else to discuss the
trivia of our lives.

I find mailing lists to be a much better research tool than the web under
most circumstances, and when I don't see a topic discussed it seems
valuable to be to get that information into those public areas. 

As should be obvious from my ignorance of browser capabilities, I don't
browse the web unless there is no other alternative. Sure, its an old dog
not wanting to learn new tricks, but it's also an artifact of my soda
straw access to the net. I get bored waiting for pages to download and
typically go off and do something else...

Anyway, thanks for your fine reply, this is why I love these lists. I'll
try not to be such a bother in the future.
