In my fully automatic installation (FAI) I had also the problem that
daemons are started, if I install a packages in a chroot
environment. I have written a new start-stop-daemon script that fakes
the original function without starting the daemon, but invoke-rc.d
will be much nicer for this. I hope invoke-rc.d will be policy soon.
