You do not even have to do that. In a "normal" (by some definition) gnome when a program crashes (with segfault) bug-buddy is started and you are asked to make a bug-report. Normally bugs.gnome.org is used but you can change that to some other known bug-report systems like the one they (and debian) use. So probably there is a user that does not andurstand that much about bugs and submit it to the wrong one. Maybe we should ask the RedHat people to remove debian from the list in there release of bug-buddy? > im guessing redhat installs this bugger in the default gnome install > and it lacks any defaults to send bugs to redhat. debian is probably > just one of the default choices (if not THE default choice...) // Ola -- --------------------- Ola Lundqvist --------------------------- / olalu526@student.liu.se Björnkärrsgatan 5 A.11 \ | opal@lysator.liu.se 584 36 LINKÖPING | | ordforande@lysator.liu.se +46 (0)13-17 69 83 | | ola.lundqvist@euronetics.se +46 (0)70-332 1551 | | http://www.opal.dhs.org UIN/icq: 4912500 | \ gpg/f.p.: 7090 A92B 18FE 7994 0C36 4FE4 18A1 B1CF 0FE5 3DD9 / ---------------------------------------------------------------
