It is, if it's a PPC system. I'm waiting on a good fix to be committed
since the problem is very complicated. Today, the folks investigating the
problem came up with a positive direction, so I'm assuming that it should
be resolved shortly. Also, even if it's not PPC, there is a problem in
binutils that was causing these types of errors (fix was checked in this
morning).
I have a new CVS package ready to upload right now to fix "case
B" above. I'll upload it to see if that fixes the problems.
Unfortunately, the offending package(s) will probably need to
be recompiled.
Sorry about this...seems that Alan committed a change right before the
last snapshot that I grabbed that caused "case B" above. He's reverted
the change, but is looking to provide a real fix soon. I'll be sure to
make a new upload when all is totally fixed...
