I intended to use courier (www.courier-mta.org), so I could use a single
setup and authentication system for smtp/pop/imap. I need to authenticate
against a remote Oracle database, which is not really supported by most
products. I wrote an authodbc module based on the authmysql one for
courier, if I use something else, I'll have to rewrite an authentication
method for the smtp server, the imap server and the pop server, which
becomes much harder to maintain. If I don't find anything simpler, I'll
probably modify courier to handle quotas, but I still think it would be
easier if it was all handled by the OS :)
