Hello, my name is Emmett Plant, I'm a former Slashdot Author and
longtime Debian fan. I've recently been promoted to the Editor-in-Chief
position at Linux.com. Linux.com runs on Debian, so I thought you might be
the right choice for a project we're working on.
We want to feature installation instructions (with screenshots) for new
Linux users for all the major Linux distributions. Since I'm a Debian fan
and we use Debian, I figured I'd put Debian first on the list. Would you
be willing to write a detailed piece on Debian on a volunteer basis? It
would mean the world to us, and I hear you're great at documentation from
your colleagues on IRC.
Going forward, I would also need you to update and change the installation
instructions as time passes and things change. Please let me know if you'd
be willing to do this; if you can't, please try and point me to someone
who can. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
