Re: [ot] <rant>grub is great!</rant> (was Re: woody Debian Installer plans)



Will this work if the BIOS geometry does not match at all with the drive's
reported geomety? Drive geometry is 8748/64/32 and BIOS' idea was
something weird like 156/4/14 or something. I'd get an MBR and then 'LIL-'
from lilo. So installing grub in the partition boot record and using
--force-lba ought to work?
