ITP: libdetect

I intend to package the hardware detection library "libdetect"
developed by Mandrakesoft as part of their Lothar project.

I believe the license is LGPL.

I may also package some of the other tools, though libdetect is the
most critical for implementing a decent and complete hardware
detection scheme.
