The good news about this problem is that it doesn't affect all of the
platforms. The bad news is that it affects one of them. I'll take a
look at this problem for m68k, but I may not be able to solve it. If
not, I suggest that we drop clisp for m68k, but keep if for the
platforms where it does compile.
This is an unpleasant choice, but it seems like the best under the
circumstances.
