Re: lintian and binary plugins



so, is it correct that plugins are not treated as
shared libraries under policy?  [so this isn't really
a policy violation, just a lintian false-negative]

perhaps lintian could ignore .so files
outside of /lib, /usr/lib, /usr/X11R6/lib?
[maybe alternate libraries, like libc5-compat,
will mess this idea up...]
