The Binary-1 CD boots the `vanilla' flavor; Binary-2 has `compact'. It _used_
to be that Binary-2 had the `tecra' kernel for laptop support, but this is no
longer the case (`tecra' patches are in mainstream now). AFAIK `compact'
is not meant specifically for laptops.
