Bug#64090: fakeroot: strange message

some time around the new year, espy@debian.org made a NMU of
fakeroot, where he removed the fakeroot shlibs file.

He made no commend as to why he made that NMU, nor informed me
about the fact that he made an NMU. However, someone else
mentioned in an email something about an NMU, and thus I got to
know about the NMU.

I asked espy@debian.org what the reason for the NMU was, and why
he made it -- but he never responded my email.

So, I asked on debian-devel, and Wichert replied me with a list of
bugs it (the removing of the shlibs file in the NMU) presumably fixed.

However, I notice that if I simply reinstate the fakeroot shlibs file
(and undo the NMU completely), I can get rid of the warning message
in the above bugreport.

As I don't really know why the NMU was made in the first place,
(at least not why it really was needed, what the idea behind it
was, etc) I now don't know whether I should re-instate that shlibs
file. So I'm asking on debian-devel now (and those people involved
with this in the past).

Thanks,

Contents of the shlibs file I now use:
/usr/lib/libfakeroot/libfakeroot 0
