Re: Proposal new source archive format

I have a dream:
1. Getting some source-package
2. Compiling with optimizations specific to my processor
(2b. Creating a .deb from it)
3. Installing
4. Being able to manage the source and binary part of the package using dpkg or
similar

I know this is possible but I´m missing some kind of tutorial which states what
to do, what not to do and some why. Since this could be a quit common desire,
this might become a HowTo or Mini-HowTo.
I´ll provide the german translation.
