Re: MySQL *.deb's dependencies ignored? maybe?

I'm the Debian maintainer for mysql and am a bit alarmed by the output
of your dpkg list:

First, where did you get that mysql-shared package from?
It DOES NOT EXISTS. I never made it and nobody before me did a package
named this (especially not in this version!). As far as I know 3.22.32-1
was the last one I did.
(btw. the shared libs are in libmysqlclient6)

no. the output of the program you used ist wrong or wrong interpreted.
Which do you use? dpkg -s mysql-client does NOT show any dependency
to mysql-base. It even replaces it. (no mysql-base since 3.20.xx!)
