packages to give away

Hello,

I finally realized that I can't really devote as much time to these
complex packages as I really should, the buglist keeps growing, and I
don't really use them much any more...
So here they are:

php3 and php4

Both are quite complex, the php3 source being afaik the second in the
number of generated binary packages :)
whoever takes php3 should take the php3-dbase source package too which was
separated because of non-free content, and the libgd-gif1 package which
I made to preserve backward compatibility (php4 uses the new libgd which
supports png)
it would be good if php3 and php4 was taken by the same person. if you
think you can manage it, please read on, then read the bugreport list, and
think once more ;) You'll have to be quite familiar with how shared
libraries and dynamically loaded modules work, and also handle libtool,
autoconf, automake, etc quite a lot (upstream is not that much devoted to
building loadable modules), and be careful with licences (eg. php4 can't
be linked with gpl libraries, though it likes to link itself to
libgdbm...)
Some of the new stuff needed: a configuration utility to specify which
modules should be loaded, cgi version of php4, perhaps coexistence of php3
and php4 (I guess we'll have to talk about these in private mail...)

htdig

a nice web search engine... it needs an upgrade to 3.2beta and some
smaller issues to deal with.

mhash

I packaged this so I could build a mhash module for php3, I won't be
using it anymore... it is a simple package (but it is a _library_ so
please know about libraries if you want to take this :))

libnet-ssleay-perl

I packaged this in preparation of packaging webmin, which I finally gave
away :) It is a simple perl module, not much to be done (no new version
for ages). Warning: non-US!
