mscompress also includes msexpand. They are command line utilities to compress/expand files compressed by Windows(tm). If you've seen any file on a DOS/Windows machine with an underscore at the end, you know what I'm talking about. Example: file.xyz becomes file.xy_ when compressed. It's butt-ugly but the files are out there, and it's nice not to need Windows to extract the data out of them. :-) Regards, Jeff
