weird Xorcisms
Strange problem with X -- my keyboard sometimes locks up completely.
It's happened to me twice in the past few weeks, and happened just now.
The mouse worked fine, I could launch new windows from the WM menu
etc but couldn't type anything, toggle numlock etc.
I logged in from another machine and used chvt to get back to the
console, where the keyboard worked fine. Hit F7 to return to X,
keyboard stuffed again. Kill and restart xdm, still stuffed.
Yet X run from startx works fine.
Spooky. Ideas anyone? Pretty frustrating.
