What!  Don't you know that this is debian-devel we are talking about?  No
thread is done until it deteriorates into one of:

(a) discussions of minute details of licenses,
(b) proposals for a new release mechanism, 
(c) Rants from GPL extremists, or
(d) Someone resigning in a huff.
