Once upon a time, I heard Michael Meskes say > I added the entry as listed in the kernel docs too. But I cannot get a > kernel newer than 2.3.47 to start. e2fsck always bails out telling me it > cannot read the superblock. Could anyone please tell me if there are more > changes I have to make to my system (up-to-date potato). > > It seems, however, that my /etc/fstab entry does not harm 2.2.14 much. I'm running 2.3.99-pre3 on latest potato now.By glansing trough several newsgroup/ mailing list. I heard sth about devfs and the proble e2fsck. BTW, my machine was slink long time ago and was upgraded to potato, so e2fs that old and new mke2fs create might be diffrent.
